This is a soft chewy caramel recipe that my English teacher used to make and sell to her students. She always gave some out to her favorite students or as rewards to those who did something impressionable. She was a tiny, bold woman with a fire in her voice that terrified every student into obedience, but her caramels let us know that she truly loved us…well most of us.

Candy that is like a soft pillow of coconut, covered in chocolate. We like eating them refrigerated or frozen best!

Quick and yummy scones... Seriously the easiest. It's a great recipe for small families as it only makes four scones.

Krumkaker is a Norwegian treat usually served around Christmas time and means *rolled cake*. It's like a delicate crisp cookie and it's difficult to eat only one.

I like to think of this as a Norwegian potato crepe. You can spead things on it to make it sweet or savory, but I love it best warm and lathered in butter.
